Ingredients for 4 people
Salad
- 3/4 lb of mixed salad
- 8 to 12 walnuts
- 1/2 lb Ossau-Iraty cheese, stripped
Salad dressing
- 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp. white wine vinegar (or raspberry vinegar)
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 3 tbsp. walnut oil
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
Method
In a salad bowl, whisk in order the salad dressing ingredients, taste and rectify seasoning if desired. Just before serving, add salad to the sauce and toss well. Serve in individual plates, garnish with the cheese and shelled walnuts.
